CDL A Transportation Driver

Overview

Mileage rate is $0.82 per mile. Full‑time pay begins at $0.82 per mile for Transportation/Linehaul Drivers, averaging approximately $2,200 per week.

• Transport, load, and unload freight between Service Centers safely and claim‑free.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections on tractor/trailer.
• Affix correct placards to tractor/trailer when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness of company vehicle.
• Interact and converse with internal customers.
• Safely operate a forklift to unload/load products when indicated.
• Be available for irregular work schedules, extended trips away from domiciled Service Center, alternating work shifts and/or assignments.
• Adhere to operational procedures and guidelines.

• At least 23 years of age.
• At least 18 months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid Class A CDL with Hazardous Materials and Tank Endorsement (obtained prior to interviewing).
• Valid DOT Physical/Medical Card.
• No DUI, citation/conviction for reckless operations in the past 3 years.
• No more than two moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Basic math skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to pass a drug screen.

The position requires the ability to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle and perform routine physical tasks associated with driving and equipment inspections, including standing, walking, climbing, bending, reaching, ascending and descending from the vehicle, and handling equipment with occasional manual handling of freight.
