Job Description

As a Senior HSE Engineer (Environmental) at the Colonial Heights, Virginia site, you will serve as a functional HSE expert, providing safety leadership and technical support to the facility. Work within robust operating and management systems to reduce risk and strengthen systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Partner with business leaders and employees to continuously improve HSE culture, awareness, and accountability in support of business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Integrate HSE processes and safe work practices into daily operations.
  • Management and continual improvement of environmental programs including wastewater, hazardous waste, air emissions, and stormwater compliance.
  • Lead HSE initiatives and continuous HSE improvement as an integrated business partner to support achievement of site goals and ensure zero harm to everyone.
  • Drive excellence and engagement in HSE through management, leadership and employee involvement, worksite risk assessments, hazard prevention and control, and HSE training.
  • Deploy and manage environmental initiatives to continually improve performance of environmental programs and processes.
  • Develop and implement environmental and safety programs to maintain compliance with all HSE regulatory and company requirements.
  • Oversight and project management of environmental capital projects.
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 5 years of HSE programs management experience.

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Title V Air Emissions & Hazardous Waste programs management experience.
  • Working knowledge of local and federal environmental regulations.
  • Professional certifications such as ASP and CSP.
  • Manufacturing industry experience.
U.S. Person Requirements

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, the candidate must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.

Compensation

The annual base salary range for this position is $96,000 - $120,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Solstice Advanced Materials considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities, the candidate’s work experience, education and training, key skills, and market and business considerations.
