We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Area Director of Sales to oversee the sales operations for several of our West End Richmond hotels and drive revenue growth.

Position Overview:
As the Area Director of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies to maximize revenue and occupancy for our hotels. You will manage key accounts, and collaborate with various departments to ensure our hotels remain the preferred choice for guests.
- Sales Strategy Development:
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to boost hotel rooms, catering services, and food and beverage outlets. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth and innovation. - Client Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, travel agents, and other potential customers. Conduct sales meetings, presentations, and site tours to showcase hotel facilities, catering services, and food and beverage offerings. - Revenue Generation:
Maximize occupancy rates and average daily rates (ADR) through effective pricing strategies and revenue management techniques. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling of hotel amenities, catering packages, and dining experiences to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue. - Marketing and Promotion:
Work with corporate marketing partners to develop and execute marketing campaigns and promotional activities to drive awareness and demand for hotel accommodations, catering services, and food and beverage offerings. Collaborate with the marketing team to create marketing materials, advertisements, and online content. Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the hotel and its hospitality services. - Financial Management:
Manage sales budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure profitability.
