Assembler, Manufacturing ​/ Production

Job Title: Assembler I

Location: South Chesterfield, VA

We are looking for an Assembler I who will be responsible for working cooperatively as part of a production team to manufacture and assemble high quality glass doors, frames, and subcomponents.

• Assemble or produce component parts into completed subassemblies, assemblies, or units adhering to the assembly traveler/standard work instructions.
• Inspect parts or completed units using visual inspection, gauges, tape measures, check fixtures, calipers, or other inspection equipment.
• Perform end‑of‑line product checks and/or repairs.
• Notify or communicate with assemblers, leads, supervisors, or upstream changes to ensure products meet specification.
• Assist assembly groups with problem solving.
• Make recommendations for in‑line and subsequent checks to increase first pass yield.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of production assembly work.

• Basic reading/writing skills.
• Understanding of 6S.
• Ability to read and understand all job specifications.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and/or sit for long periods.
