• Manage slitting machinery with a focus on safety and productivity within a high-volume production setting.
• Gain proficiency in navigating digital shop-floor interfaces and mastering overall equipment functionality.
• Ensure all tasks align with established quality benchmarks and specific product process documentation.
• Develop a firm grasp of scanning procedures and palletizing workflows.
• Collaborate effectively with Press Operators to address and resolve any quality concerns identified during slitting.
• Proactively flag potential operational issues to the press team, Quality Assurance, or plant leadership to ensure smooth production.
• Engage in regular team discussions centered on maintaining high safety and quality standards.
• Handle hazardous waste disposal tasks in accordance with facility protocols.
• Execute production tasks with a balance of high speed and precise accuracy.
• Demonstrate the physical capability to lift loads weighing up to 45 lbs.
• Remain flexible to accommodate overtime requests as business needs dictate.

• Prior background in a manufacturing role or operating industrial machinery is considered an asset.
