Sales Associate

The sales associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing stock and replenishment, and maintaining the brand and overall appearance of the store.

• Achieve or exceed established goals, including sales, hourly productivity, average dollar sale, units per transaction, conversion, charge accounts, contests, and other brand-specific KPIs.
• Actively participate in all contests, promotions, and sales incentive programs; stay aware of all sales promotions.
• Apply full knowledge of selling skills and customer service standards as outlined in Company training programs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers through friendly attitude and excellent service; answer the telephone professionally.
• Meet Company standards for store appearance, performance, product knowledge, and store operations.
• Assist store management to maintain the store by keeping sales floor and stock area clean and organized.
• Follow visual merchandising standards, including straightening fixtures, filling displays, colorizing displays, and other directives from the Store Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Assist the Store Manager or Assistant Manager with markdowns in a correct and timely manner; complete work within deadlines and seek additional assignments; perform with minimal supervision.
• Follow all security policies and procedures, including zone defense; recognize and respond to potential loss prevention issues.
• Monitor for potential shortages through prompt customer service, notifying management of external theft (shoplifting) and internal theft.

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Must present a neat appearance and personal grooming.
• Candidate will be required to stand for long periods of time throughout their shift.
• Capable of lifting between 15-30 pounds.
