Position Summary

Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician position at Walmart Supercenter #1424, 671 Southpark Blvd, Colonial Heights, VA .

Full-time, hourly rate $23.00 - $45.00 per hour, shifts may vary.

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility refrigerator HVAC equipment and other commercial HVAC systems using hand, digital, and power tools.
• Use work order management to receive and document repair work orders for stores and store associates.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to safely operate equipment and tools.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and Walmart safety policies.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights, including ladders, as required.

• 2+ years of commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance experience; large-scale rack refrigeration experience preferred.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Minimum 18 years old with high school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical maintenance or construction‑related experience in commercial HVAC/R.

• Completion of a 2‑year HVAC/R vocational or technical program.
• Mechanical license in city or state where the job is located.
