J K Stell Electrical and Construction is looking for a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team in Colonial Heights, VA. Responsibilities:- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and/or light industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
- Perform conduit bending, wiring, and panel installations
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults and equipment malfunctions
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with NEC codes and local regulations
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and team members on job sites
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment following OSHA safety standards
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license in the state of Virginia
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on electrical experience
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and electrical schematics
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local electrical codes
- Experience with residential, commercial, or construction electrical work
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a safety-first mindset
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Must maintain a professional attitude and appearance
