Detail‑oriented accountant who performs accounting tasks in collaboration with internal departments. As a member of the accounting team, assists in daily, monthly, and annual activities, audits, resolving discrepancies, reporting, and ad hoc duties as assigned.
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNone
Essential Functions- Collaborates with internal departments to gather and analyze relevant financial data
- Enter financial data such as accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and interdepartmental entries into the ledger
- Performs account analysis to ensure that journal entries and balances are correct
- Complies with internal accounting procedures
- Maintains accurate records, including ledgers, journals, receipts, and invoices
- Supports the loan draw processes and Accounts Payable processes as needed
- Gathers supporting documentation and performs recordkeeping
- Assists with preparation for annual audits
- Performs administrative and other tasks as needed
- Assists with special projects as needed
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Knowledge of accounting standards and industry regulations
- Competency in accounting and business management software
- Proficient in Excel
- Strong analytical, time management, and organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in entering financial data
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization
- Experience and/or desire to participate in reviewing tax returns (Partnerships – Form 1065)
- Verbal and written communication skills

Physical Requirements
Work Environment:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
