Accounting Manager

About the Role

This Accounting Manager role sits within the Finance team of a growing direct-to-consumer healthtech and telemedicine company. You'll own the integrity of financial operations across eCommerce, inventory, and healthcare activities - ensuring strong controls as the business scales. It's a high-impact position with cross-functional visibility and a path toward public company readiness.

• Lead the end-to-end month-end close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Oversee core accounting functions: revenue recognition, inventory, intercompany, payroll, AP/AR, and fixed assets.
• Prepare and review financial statements and internal reporting packages.
• Perform balance sheet and P&L fluctuation analyses to surface actionable business insights.
• Manage treasury activities including cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and liquidity optimization.
• Partner with Supply Chain to strengthen inventory controls, reporting, and forecasting.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and supporting documentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives to support scale.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of staff accountants.
• Support external audits and readiness for public company reporting requirements.

• 5+ years of accounting experience, including a public accounting background, with 2-3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong accounting fundamentals;
  Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field - CPA preferred.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting principles.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills for analysis and reporting.
• Experience in eCommerce, healthcare, telemedicine, or inventory-based businesses is highly preferred.
• Proven track record managing complex accounting operations in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate financial data into clear business insights.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Salary range: $90,000 - $110,000 USD annually . Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Hybrid role based in Fremont, California, United States .
