Job Summary:

As an F&B Admin. Cost Control Clerk, you will manage daily administrative duties and strict inventory controls for the Food & Beverage department. This role supports the F&B Director and Cost Controller in maximizing profitability, reducing waste, and maintaining our luxury service standards through meticulous data entry, invoice reconciliation, and menu costing. • Participate in monthly and spot-check physical inventories across all kitchens, bars, and storerooms.
• Identify and report discrepancies between theorical and actual stock levels.
• Match delivery notes with purchase orders and invoices to ensure accurate pricing and quantities.
• Assist Cost Controller with input and update recipe data into the inventory management system to calculate accurate plate costs.
• Log daily spoilage, breakage, cost transfers, and complimentary item reports to track revenue loss in the purchasing system (Stratton Warren MMS).
• Archive or save subsidiary reports from the purchasing system (Stratton Warren MMS).
• Maintain the point-of-sale (POS) and inventory software databases with updated menu items and pricing.
• Assist leaderships with financial data reports to analyze menu performance and popularity, prepare Daily cost and Average check report and for subsidiary companies, including Seven Falls.
• Liaise with the purchasing department and vendors regarding credits, returns, and delivery discrepancies.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly F&B cost reports for management review. And assist accounting management with reports and requests as needed.
• General understanding of Accounting’s General Ledger (GL) and point-of sale (POS) reporting.
• Post journal entries as needed and assist in the month end closing process.
• Commit to availability during month end closing, generally weekdays the 1st - 10th of the month to close prior month.
• Ensure complete compliance with The Broadmoor guidelines, operational procedures, safety policies, and institutional standards for excellence (Forbes Travel Guide and AAA Five-Diamond).
• Maintain a willingness to learn about The Broadmoor’s history, estate grounds, wilderness properties, culinary offerings, and retail outlets.
• Execute additional duties and responsibilities as required.

• Associate degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
• Previous experience in F&B administration, cost control, or store keeping is highly preferred; however, an equivalent combination of relevant education and professional background will be considered.
• High proficiency with spreadsheets, formulas, and data analysis.
• Ability to utilize Microsoft Office tools for documentation and email communication and familiarity with hotel POS system and inventory management software.
• Meticulous eye for numbers, pricing discrepancies, and inventory counts.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines for monthly financial closing.
• A highly motivated team player who connects easily with colleagues and drives results through positive energy and seamless collaboration.
