Central Administrative Specialist I (Receptionist) - Bilingual Spanish/Preferred
Provides front-line customer service and clerical support to ensure efficient daily operations of a central office environment. Serves as the initial point of contact for visitors, staff, and community members.
- Greets visitors and directs them to appropriate departments or personnel
- Answers and routes incoming phone calls; takes and relays messages
- Schedules meetings and manages conference room usage
- Provides general information and responds to routine inquiries
- Monitors building access and visitor entry processes
- Performs basic clerical duties including data entry, filing, and document preparation
- Maintains a professional and welcoming office environment
- Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge of basic office practices and equipment
Skill in customer service and professional communication
Ability to follow established procedures and instructions
Ability to operate standard office software and equipment
Ability to work cooperatively with staff and the public
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year clerical or office experience preferred
- Bilingual Spanish/Preferred
Work is performed in a typical school office environment. Duties are primarily sedentary with periods of walking and standing. May lift and carry up to 20 pounds. Requires ability to operate office equipment and communicate effectively.
