ResponsibilitiesJob Description:
Our team s vision is to be Microchip s trusted advisors. The Quality Analyst will be a key interface between Sales and Microchip s internal teams through the Non-Standard Customer Action Request (NSCAR) process. The Quality Analyst will partner with stakeholders to provide timely, accurate, and consistent responses to customers requests for non-public information and will also help drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with Sales, Quality, Engineering, and Support teams to research and provide accurate and timely responses to customer inquiries related to products, quality, and technical information not publicly available. Inquiries may include information related to Microchip s Quality Management System, qualification and reliability data, and product characteristics.
- Manage and track customer inquiries using project management principles to ensure timely and complete responses while meeting customer and business expectations.
- Organize, analyze, and clearly communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences through written responses, presentations, and documentation.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and consistency of responses.
- Serve as a professional and culturally aware interface when interacting with global teams and customers.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives.
- Associate s degree in business, engineering, or a technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3-5 years of experience in a sales, customer-facing, or quality-related role; semiconductor industry experience preferred
- Familiarity with project management methodologies or tools (e.g., task tracking, prioritization, or formal project management frameworks) used to manage multiple concurrent customer requests
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly. Customer interaction experience or demonstrated ability to develop strong customer communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively
- Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and influencing skills
- Knowledge of integrated circuits, semiconductor manufacturing processes, and industry standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, JEDEC, and AEC preferred
