About Purple Mountain Home BuyersPurple Mountain Home Buyers is a fast-moving real estate investment and redevelopment company focused on transforming distressed properties into quality homes.
We Pride Ourselves On- Moving quickly and staying organized
- Treating our contractors and vendors with respect
- Paying fast and being easy to work with
- Delivering rehab projects on time and on budget
Our projects are hands-on, practical, and execution-focused — and we’re looking for someone who operates the same way.
What This Role Really IsThis is not a sales role and not a heavy labor position.
This is a field-savvy coordination role for someone who understands how job sites actually work and can effectively support the Project Manager by keeping vendors, trades, and timelines aligned.
You will act as the bridge between the field and the office — working with down-to-earth contractors, local suppliers, and our internal team to keep projects moving.
If you’re the type who can walk a job site, talk shop with contractors, and keep details organized back at the office, you’ll do well here.
The Environment You’ll Be Working In- Contractors are practical, no-frills operators (B+ crews)
- Vendors include Home Depot Pro Desk and local material suppliers
- Brand presence is mostly behind the scenes — we own the properties
- Culture is collaborative, respectful, and solutions-focused
- Daily in-office coordination with the Project Manager
- Weekly WIN/RISE construction team meetings
- Regular project scope and budget meetings with leadership
We value clear communication, reliability, and genuine working relationships — not corporate polish.
Core Responsibilities Project Coordination & Scheduling- Coordinate subcontractors and vendors across multiple rehab projects
- Track timelines, milestones, and project progress
- Help ensure trades are sequenced efficiently
- Follow up to keep jobs moving forward
- Serve as the intermediary between contractors/vendors and the internal team
- Answer routine contractor questions and relay updates
- Build strong, respectful rapport with trades and suppliers
- Support smooth communication between field and office
- Assist in developing scopes of work
- Gather and compare contractor bids
- Source and order materials from local suppliers
- Support cost tracking and documentation
- Conduct site visits and progress checks
- Take measurements and verify completed work
- Perform property wellness checks (HVAC, leaks, utilities, security)
- Assist with property securing after acquisition
- Handle occasional light hands-on tasks as needed (minor portion of role)
- Coordinate last-minute material pickups
- Address day-to-day field issues
- Anticipate logistical problems before they cause delays
We want someone practical, organized, and comfortable around job sites — not someone overly corporate or purely administrative.
