The Premier Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a growing commercial construction organization with operations in Colorado Springs and Denver, Colorado. The ideal candidate will have successfully managed multiple ground-up commercial construction projects ranging from $50M to $200M within the last five years.
Key Responsibilities- Compile and organize project plans and files.
- Review and interpret owner contracts and project documents to ensure alignment with architectural drawings and project requirements.
- Review all project documentation to understand the full scope of work.
- Negotiate and prepare subcontract agreements and work orders during project buyout.
- Oversee project profit and loss performance and develop regular margin projections.
- Prepare monthly project cost projections and project reports.
- Maintain project compliance related to quality control, safety requirements, and other project standards.
- Prepare subcontracts and purchase orders.
- Prepare monthly owner pay applications.
- Track, price, and negotiate project cost changes and change orders.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, including participation in regular schedule updates with project superintendents.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality expectations.
Skills & Qualifications

- Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and team-building skills.
- Thorough knowledge of construction methods, equipment, technology, engineering practices, cost control, scheduling, quality assurance, and safety requirements.
- Proficiency with construction management software, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to identify issues, gather and analyze data, establish facts, and make sound decisions.
- Strong capability to analyze workflow, processes, and production across multiple active projects.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and positive working relationships.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of project management experience with a commercial general contractor.
- Experience managing commercial construction projects valued between $50M and $200M
. - Current OSHA 30 Certification
. - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to travel throughout Colorado as required.
- Ability to successfully complete background screening and drug testing requirements.
- Salary Range: $95,000 - $135,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
