As a Dental Assistant Instructor at our Colorado Springs campus, you will share your mastery of four-handed dentistry and clinical workflows with the next generation. 12 Hours per Week (Afternoon flexibility)

Hiring Range: $22.88 – $27.46 per hour

• Instructional Delivery:
  Design and lead engaging lessons in dental subjects, appealing to various learning styles (visual, tactile, auditory).
• Clinical Supervision:
  Train students in didactic and clinical four-handed/six-handed dentistry principles, ensuring they meet professional standards.
• Student Success:
  Evaluate coursework within a 72-hour window and maintain face-to-face office hours to advise and mentor students.
• Externship Support:
  Supervise student externship experiences and maintain connections with local dental offices and clinics.
• Professional Standards:
  Participate in faculty meetings, advisory boards, and campus graduations to ensure the program remains at the forefront of the industry.
• Documentation:
  Manage student files, attendance records, and early alerts with precision.

• A Clinical Role Model:
  You demonstrate the professionalism, technical skill, and ethical judgment that students need to succeed in a modern dental office.
• An Engaging Communicator:
  You have the ability to break down complex clinical procedures into simple, actionable steps for beginners.
• Tech-Savvy:
  You are comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and dental software to manage classroom data.
• Community-Minded:
  You enjoy arranging guest speakers and field trips to local clinics to help students build their professional networks.

• Experience:
  
  At least two (2) years of occupational (practical) experience in Dental Assisting.
• Education:
  
  Graduation from an accredited Dental Assistant program OR three (3) years of job-related training for non-graduates.
• Credentials:
  Must be a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA), Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), or a Licensed Dentist.
• State Knowledge:
  Deep understanding of Colorado state requirements governing dental assisting programs.
• Skills:
  
  Proficient in didactic and clinical four-handed/six-handed dentistry.
