JBTEC Training And Knowledge Management Specialist

Torch Technologies is seeking a JBTEC Training and Knowledge Management Specialist to join a team developing, delivering, and maintaining training programs, curriculum, and knowledge management solutions supporting Department of War (DoW) personnel and USSPACECOM Global Sensor Management (GSM) mission requirements. This position supports the Space & Joint Operations mission area.

As a JBTEC Training and Knowledge Management Specialist, your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:

  • Develop, maintain, and deliver training curriculum and instructional materials supporting USSPACECOM GSM roles and responsibilities, including Missile Warning (MW), Missile Defense (MD), and Space Domain Awareness (SDA) missions.
  • Apply instructional design principles and competency-based assessment methods to create effective training programs.
  • Establish and update training requirements based on operational needs, mission changes, and integration of new ground and space systems/sensors.
  • Conduct operations training in alignment with USSPACECOM standards and mission objectives.
  • Serve as a Knowledge Management (KM) specialist responsible for maintaining training materials, documentation, knowledge repositories, websites, file structures, and content management systems.
  • Review and update training content while coordinating with internal customers, leadership, and DoW training organizations.
  • Identify training gaps, curriculum issues, and operational readiness concerns and provide recommendations to leadership.
  • Support scenario-based training, exercises, competency assessments, major system installations, and upgrades.
  • Coordinate training activities and respond to USSPACECOM training requirements.
  • Provide occasional shift or evening support during critical operational periods, exercises, or mission events.

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 8+ years experience supporting assessment, curriculum development, instructional design, and/or military training environments.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance required with the ability to obtain SAP and STO clearances.
  • Experience assessing military plans, operations, exercises, and mission requirements.
  • Experience developing and maintaining training materials, documentation, and knowledge management solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work with DoW organizations, leadership, and internal teams.
  • Ability to support occasional shift or evening work as required for mission needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting USSPACECOM or similar DoW organizations.
  • Familiarity with Global Sensor Management (GSM) roles, responsibilities, and mission requirements.
  • Operational knowledge of missile warning, missile defense, space domain awareness systems, sensors, and communication links.
  • Experience supporting military exercises and operational readiness activities.
  • Advanced degree in a related field.

Salary Range: $115,000-$130,000
