HealthPRO Pediatrics is seeking a full-time Special Education Paraprofessional to support students in a K-12 school setting in Colorado Springs, CO
. This position is located at one school location
, providing consistency for both the paraprofessional and the students they support.
The Special Education Paraprofessional will work closely with teachers, special education staff, and related service professionals to help students access their educational programs and reach their individual goals.

Responsibilities- Carries out instructional programs and lessons in various learning environments as designated in the lesson plan
- Works one-on-one with students to implement specific programming (Applied Behavior Analysis, Verbal Behavior Training, etc.)
- Monitors behavior programs and reward systems for students
- Trained and able to perform behavior management through Nonviolent Crisis Intervention techniques when appropriate
- Accompanies and assists the students while in the classroom setting
