ABOUT THE SCHOOL/DEPARTMENTFoster Dual Language PK-8 is an Option School that provides a unique opportunity that brings together Spanish and English speaking students in an effort to develop full bilingualism in both groups. Students have the opportunity to learn a second language without compromising their first language or academic learning. Our Dual Language program supports the development of the three pillars of Bilingual education: bilingualism and biliteracy, high academic achievement, and socioculturalcompetence.

PRE-EMPLOYMENTREQUIREMENT
The successful new hire or rehired candidate will be responsible to complete and incur the fingerprinting and processing fee of $54.50 through an appropriate fingerprinting vendor and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, within 48 hours of offer acceptance.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop and execute a variety of age-appropriate activities that align with the club’s focus (e.g., Lego, Reading, Running, Arts & Crafts, etc.).
- Ensure activities are engaging, educational, and promote social-emotional development.
- Supervise students to ensure safety and a respectful, inclusive atmosphere.
- Promote positive behavior and enforce school rules. Address behavioral issues promptly and effectively, ensuring a positive experience for all students.
- Work closely teachers and school administrators to ensure smooth communication and program alignment with school policies.
- Track student attendance and maintain necessary records. Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student participation and progress when needed.
- Ensure all activities comply with school policies and safety guidelines. Be prepared to respond to emergencies, following established protocols.

Prior experience supervising groups of students.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
High school diploma or GED required.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Capable of managing groups of students, keeping them engaged and motivated in a variety of activities. Able to manage conflicts or behavioral challenges in a calm, constructive manner. Strong verbal communication skills with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
