Special Education Teacher | Springs

• Hold a valid special education teaching license applicable to K-12 settings
• Previous experience working with students with varying disabilities (emotional, behavioral, learning, or physical)
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes and compliance
• Ability to create engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to student needs
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to ensure each student receives appropriate support
• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to accommodate varying learning styles and abilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to maximize student progress
• Utilize data to track student growth and make instructional adjustments
• Foster a positive, respectful learning atmosphere that encourages participation and confidence
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations
