Homeschool Enrichment Teacher

Anticipated start date is September 22, 2026.Position Purpose The Homeschool Enrichment Teacher teacher works under the supervision of the Head of School and is responsible for meeting all scheduled classes and providing instruction in accordance with the Colorado Early Colleges Home School Academy's academic philosophy, goals, and objectives.

Job Duties Upholds CEC's beliefs found on the CEC website.

Develops and administers curriculum consistent with CEC’s academic philosophy, goals, and objectives.

Develops lesson plans, instructional materials, and activities to enhance learning and to demonstrate the application of course work to everyday life.

Conducts ongoing assessment of student learning and modifies instructional methods accordingly.

Promotes a classroom environment safe and conducive to student and small group learning by ensuring student conduct conforms with CEC's Student and Family Handbook and CEC policies.

Ensures effective communication with students and parents.

Organizes and maintains Infinite Campus (IC) for accurate and complete recordkeeping, grading, and reporting for all student activities, achievements, and daily attendance as required in CEC policies.

Selects and requisitions appropriate materials; instructional aids, supplies, and equipment; and maintains inventory records.

Collaborates with other CECHA staff members and takes part in staff meetings and professional development as requested by the Head of School.

Continues to acquire professional knowledge and keeps informed of current developments in education.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited college or university applicable to the teaching assignment, OR Endorsement on a Colorado teaching license, OR36 semester credit hours in the core subject area, ORPassing score on a State Board of Education approved content exam (currently the ETS Praxis Series).Conditions of Employment All offers of employment are conditional upon a successful background check and references.
