Pay Range: $3,900 - $5,000 for a 3-credit hour course. Payrate is dependent upon (a) the number of courses taught, (b) thetype of courses taught (e.g. undergraduate, graduate), and (c) the education level held by the lecturer. This position is Exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) overtime provisions.

Because this appointment is temporary in nature, you will not be eligible to receive all of the benefits normally provided tofaculty under the standard University of Coloradobenefits programs . You are not eligible to receive paid vacation leave, medical, or retirement benefits. However, you are eligible to accrue sick leave at 0.034 hours of sick leave per hourworked.

Work Location: Determined by course modality:
On-campus,online, or hybrid. Remote teaching opportunities may be availableunder certain conditions.

The Collegeof Business and Administration at the Universityof Colorado Colorado Springs(UCCS) will establish and maintain a pool of Lecturers in Operations Management & Project Management from which future appointments to temporary, non-tenure track positions willbe made. Appointments are part-time (less than 50% time) and willbe made semester-by-semester.

This position will teach Operations Management and Project Management classes. For example, Fundamentals of Operations Management, Managing Projects for Competitive Advantage, Project Estimation and Risk Management. Classes may be on-campus, online,or hybrid.

This is a revolving Lecturer Pool for the Collegeof Business. Ifthere is a course opening and your qualifications match a courseand the minimum requirements, you may be contacted at thattime.

• Provides instruction to undergraduate/graduate students bothin-person and online courses.
• Maintains, develops and schedules student learning experiences to achieve desired learning outcomes.
• Plans, develops, and implements evaluation tools to assessstudent process towards course learning objectives.
• Be familiar with learning management systems, such as Canvas.
• Other duties as determined by the Collegeof Business.
