Welchester Elementary School is truly an amazing and diverse small school serving 270 students in the Golden area of Jefferson County. We are 70% FRL and 30% minority. We are proud to have a center-based program that supports students' with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

We cultivate and grow self-directed learners and citizens who contribute positively to their communities through school-wide authentic experiences and Gold Standard Project Based Learning practices. SUMMARY:

Guest Teachers are an integral part of the Jeffco team to ensure there is a quality teacher in every classroom. Responsible for the delivery of specified course content in the absence of the classroom teacher. Responsible for providing a safe educational atmosphere where students have the opportunity to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, and psychological growth. School Based Guest Teachers work for the full school year at a single school site.
