$ 69,000 - $75,000 per academic year.

Compensation will be commensurate upon experience and qualifications.

This position is Exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act(FLSA) overtime provisions.

This teaching assistant professor position will teach undergraduate courses possibly including cross-listed courses in the Department of Computer Science as assigned by the department chair. The typical course load for an instructor is 24 credit hours (80% time) per academic year and service activity (20% time).

The duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

Activities include:

• Teaching undergraduate, and possibly cross-listed, courses incybersecurity and computer science
• Developing new courses in computer science
• Advising undergraduate majors
• Participating in College and Departmental committees and meetings
• Other activities as assigned by the Chair of the Computer Science Department

Additional activities may include:

• Guiding undergraduate students in independent studies
• Developing and teaching online courses.

• To be considered for this role, you must possess a master'sdegree in Computer Science or a related field, at the time of appointment, and experience teaching at least one course as a teaching assistant, instructor of record or the equivalent.
• The ideal candidate will possess a PhD in Computer Science or a related field, have relevant industry experience, and/or experience teaching one or more relevant CS courses at the post-secondary level.
