Electronic Manufacturing | Government & Aerospace Programs
Are you a detail-driven proposal professional with a strong understanding of electronic manufacturing and government contracting? We’re partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization to identify a Bid & Proposals Specialist who will play a critical role in winning complex programs across government, DoD, military, and aerospace customers.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands PCB assembly and electronic manufacturing, and is confident navigating FAR/DFAR compliance and pricing strategies.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the preparation, coordination, and submission of complex bids and proposals for electronic manufacturing and PCB assembly programs
- Partner closely with internal project teams and external stakeholders to ensure all technical, pricing, and compliance requirements are met
- Manage multiple proposals simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting tight deadlines
- Serve as a key point of contact for customers during the proposal phase, ensuring requirements and expectations are clearly captured
- Provide guidance on pricing structures including Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus Fixed Fee, and Time & Materials
- Ensure full compliance with applicable regulations, including DoD FAR/DFAR
- Support the end-to-end proposal lifecycle, including document control, tracking, revisions, and final submission
- Clearly and persuasively communicate technical and contractual details in written proposals
- Perform additional related duties as needed
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in proposal or bid management within electronic manufacturing, specifically PCB assembly
- 3–5 years of experience supporting government, DoD, military, or aerospace customers
- Strong working knowledge of FAR/DFAR regulations
- Experience with multiple contract and pricing models (FFP, CPFF, T&M)
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional internal teams and external partners
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel skills preferred)
- Experience with CRM systems (Net Suite, Salesforce) and inventory or ERP systems is a plus
