Job Description:
Responsibilities- Lead 1391 project programming efforts
- Meet with Air Force stakeholders to define project needs
- Build project scopes, cost estimates, and funding packages
- Write and manage DD Form 1391s
- Use and oversee data entry in Nex Gen and/or TRIRIGA
- Ensure accuracy and consistency across all programming documentation
- Coach, train, and mentor junior and mid‑level programmers
- 3+years doing Air Force CE programming (non‑negotiable)
- Experience with DD Form 1391, FSRM, and MILCON
- Experience with Nex Gen or TRIRIGA
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction, or similar
- 10+ years total in A/E/C industry
Candidates from the Army may be considered only if they clearly understand Air Force processes.
Preferred Experience- Previously worked in an Air Force Civil Engineering Squadron (CES)
- Knowledge of UFC criteria
- AFIT courses like:
- WMGT 331, WMGT 417, WMGT 423
- WENG 400, WENG 500
- Location:
Full‑time, on‑site at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs - Team:
About 50–60 people total on contract (engineers, planners, programmers, etc.) - Schedule:
Typically 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- You (senior/lead)
- One mid‑level programmer
- One junior programmer
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Colorado Springs, CO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $43.00 - $62.50/hr.
