Located at the foothills of majestic Pikes Peak, the Colorado Springs Technology Center serves the role of providing leading‑edge technology access for new product development as well as complex low‑volume manufacturing for our internal Keysight partners.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team. This role will involve developing new products, optimizing production workflows, and sustaining a robust manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will take a hands‑on approach in process creation and characterization, qualification of varying process materials, equipment and is eager to contribute to both production support and new technology development.

Responsibilities
  • Design, optimize, and validate manufacturing processes for advanced electronic test equipment
  • Involvement in New Product Introduction (NPI) while developing process solutions.
  • Troubleshoot process issues, implement corrective actions, and ensure stable manufacturing yield.
  • Assess different materials including but not limited to adhesives, substrates, and other materials for thermal, mechanical, and reliability performance.
  • Create and maintain process documentation and training materials.
  • Apply continuous improvement ideas to improve efficiency in production.
  • Lead and collaborate with team members of varying backgrounds driving projects and area improvements.
Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in process development and characterization.
  • Ability to program precision assembly equipment.
  • Experience in setting up and running DOE, failure analysis, and performing data analysis.
  • Strong problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
  • Qualified to work in an ITAR facility.
  • Familiarity with epoxy, thermal management, and reliability testing and qualification (Preference).
  • Familiarity with CAD Design and Layout (Preference).

Pay Range

USD $74,670.00 - USD $ per year

Note

For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region. This role is eligible for Keysight Results Bonus Program.
