Req TitleDARC2 Sr Radar Systems Engineer
DescriptionASRC Federal System Solutions, LLC. (AFSS), a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems. AFSS is seeking a Senior Radar Systems Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO to support the Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability 2 (DARC2) program.
Responsibilities- Support the technical engineering team to develop and maintain the local radar systems sustainment and travel for on-site support in Australia.
- Design, model, test, and optimize high-frequency radar, focusing on signal processing, target detection, and system integration.
- Be detail oriented and able to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Demonstrate proven experience with MATLAB and prototyping and hands-on troubleshooting of field operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline with five (5+) years experience with radar systems sustainment and tier 2 maintenance and radar systems calibrations.
- Strong understanding of radar principles, signal processing, and electronic protection techniques.
- Experience with MATLAB/Python for simulations and models to analyze radar performance, including signal processing, waveforms, and data processing algorithms.

- Current Secret clearance and eligible for TS/SCI
- Travel > 50% to AUS and Eglin AFB, FL
- Ability to obtain AUS visa
