Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or another STEM related field
• Minimum 7 years of experience in system or test engineering, with exposure to system design, development, and integration
• Strong technical expertise in system test of both hardware and software, including test planning, design, and execution
• Experience with multiple test disciplines, including functional testing, performance testing, and security testing
• Familiarity with test tools and technologies, including test automation frameworks and test management tools
• Familiarity with test data management and test environment management
• Available for international travel to support test events several times per year

Lockheed Martin’s Rotary and Mission Systems’ EMC2 team is looking for a proven and experienced lead test engineer to support the Peace Krypton (PK) program.

As the Lead Test Engineer in this position, you will:

• Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans, including test strategy, test design, and test scripts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including systems engineering, software engineering, and hardware engineering, to ensure that systems and products meet customer requirements and industry standards
• Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test procedures, and test reports
• Lead a team of test engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and oversight to ensure that test activities are completed on time and to a high standard
• Develop and maintain test environments, including test beds, test fixtures, and test tools
• Be available and willing to travel internationally to support test events
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to understand test requirements and ensure that test activities meet their needs
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase test efficiency and effectiveness
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior test engineers, including training and mentoring
• Participate in test process improvement initiatives, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes

• An experienced Senior Test Engineer Lead responsible for leading the development and execution of comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of the PK Ground and Air systems and products.
• A candidate with a strong background in system test engineering (Software and Hardware), with expertise in test planning, test design, and test execution.
• You will be responsible for leading a team of test engineers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that systems and products meet customer requirements and industry standards.
