** Responsibilities:
*** Supervise installation, testing, and repair of avionics systems.
* Oversee complex diagnostics and troubleshooting tasks.
* Ensure all maintenance activities are documented and compliant with regulations.
* Conduct advanced training sessions for avionics staff.
* Develop and implement maintenance procedures.
* Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient operations.
* Maintain high standards of safety and work quality.
** Qualifications You Must Have:
*** High school diploma or equivalent.
* 5+ years of relevant experience.
* Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
* Expertise in avionics systems and regulatory compliance.
* Ability to understand and interpret moderately complex, technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications; ability to route wires per technical drawings.
* Advanced skills with moderately complex avionics installation tooling, wiring, wiring repair, wiring installation, soldering' and crimping techniques.
* ** An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
**** Qualifications We Prefer:
*** Associate’s degree in Avionics, Electronics, or a related field.
* Leadership experience in a maintenance environment.
* Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Familiarity with FCC and FCC  General Radio Operator License (GROL).
* Ability to mentor and guide subordinates.
* Basic understanding of spectrometer, Oscilloscope, and/or Pitot static equipment.
* Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense, or US Military.

* Essential Functions:

*** Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
* Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the work shift.
* Hand and finger dexterity to work with small mechanical components and tools.
* Ability to work in a noisy environment with potential exposure to hazardous materials.
* Ability to travel frequently to customer locations, sometimes on short notice.
* Ability to work in a combination of office and field environments.
* Ability to read detailed technical manuals, schematics, and computer screens.
* Ability to inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems accurately.
* Ability to hear and understand spoken communication in noisy environments, such as industrial sites or construction areas.
* Ability to detect auditory signals from machinery or equipment, which may indicate issues.
* Ability to navigate various work environments, including climbing ladders, crawling in confined spaces, and working at heights.
* Ability to drive or operate a vehicle for frequent travel to customer locations.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks, including repairs, installations, and maintenance.
* Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety protocols.
* Strong awareness of safety protocols and ability to adhere to safety guidelines in potentially hazardous environments.
* Ability to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.

Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
