Lockheed Martin's Rotary and Mission Systems' C4

ISR team is looking for a proven and experienced Hardware Repairs Engineer to support the Peace Krypton (PK) program.

THE WORK
As a Hardware Repairs Engineer in this position, you will:
Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware problems using various tools and techniques, such as fault analysis, signal tracing, and debugging.
Repair or replace faulty components, such as circuit boards, power supplies, or mechanical parts.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, calibration, and testing, to prevent future hardware failures
Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, or manufacturers to resolve complex hardware issues or to design and implement repairs.
Develop and implement repair procedures, protocols, and standards to ensure efficient and effective hardware maintenance.
Conduct root cause analysis to identify the underlying causes of hardware failures and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, including documentation of faults, repairs, and test results.

WHO YOU ARE
An experienced Hardware Engineer well versed in all phases of a development program; inception, design, build, test, delivery, and Operations and Maintenance.
A candidate with a strong background in hardware engineering, with expertise in manufacturing, troubleshooting, electronics, equipment testing, and hands on development.
You will be involved in troubleshooting systems, maintaining systems, and developing thoughtful design improvements and processes for new and revised parts, assemblies and systems that make up the Peace Krypton system.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related STEM discipline
Minimum 2 years of professional experience, or 1
year of professional experience with a related
Master's degree

Experience with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF equipment, and other lab/test equipment
Experience building custom cable assemblies
Ability to work independently with minimal direction
and exercise considerable latitude in determining
technical objectives and approaches
Prior experience managing labs and lab equipment with complex electronics systems
Track record of hands on experience

Desired skills
