Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado (Onsite)
Clearance Requirement: Candidates must obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense Secret clearance as a condition of employment.
Role OverviewThe role involves developing, delivering, and maintaining critical program plans and assessments related to (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). program protection. The engineer will coordinate with leadership on system changes, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with security and exportability requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate with agency and program leadership on updates to the C2
BMC system. - Perform Anti‑Tamper risk and threat management assessments and prepare reports.
- Develop, deliver, and maintain plans for C2
BMC AT, evaluation, key management, and program protection. - Manage Critical Program Information (CPI) analysis, Defense Exportability Assessments, and related strategy.
- Assess program AT designs and implementation plans for verification and validation.
- Develop recommendations to improve program protection while meeting cost, schedule, and performance goals.
- Brief AT and Program Protection requirements and prepare related documentation.
- Support program milestone reviews and fielding decisions.
- Interact with the customer to define requirements, solutions, and system impacts.
- Support planning, estimation, project tracking, and risk management activities.
Experience: An advanced degree with 7+ years of experience or a bachelor's degree with 9+ years of experience (or equivalent). Extensive expertise to solve complex problems and work without appreciable direction. Experience functioning in project leadership roles and as a prime customer contact on technical matters is required.
Certifications: IAT – Level II
Preferred Qualifications- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a multi‑site, multi‑discipline team.
- Ability to analyze needs and refine them into a minimum viable product.
- Experience engineering automation pipelines for development in fast‑paced environments.
- Understanding of anti‑tampering, exportability concerns, and secure hardware/software methodologies.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
- Must be a self‑starter able to initiate research and document results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
