Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Operations Test Engineer to support the United States Space Force Headquarters Space Operations Command (USSF HQ SpOC) at Peterson SFB in Colorado Springs. The Operations Test Engineer will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) representing HQ SpOC Delta
12 and interface with the mission team in test development activities.

Job Type: SETA

Location: Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI - SAP (Must be willing to be nominated for access to Sensitive Compartment Information and Special Access Programs and willing to consent to a Polygraph examination.)

Responsibilities:

• Provide research and analysis support for assessing current orbital warfare capabilities and developing current and future programs.
• Develop solutions to complex problems, requiring innovation to ensure solutions meet organizational requirements.
• Integrate and assess analysis on adversary capabilities and their impact on operational programs.
• Work with government customers and service members on test activities for specialized systems.
• Define test parameters and requirements.

Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 10+ years of related space operational experience.
• Strong presentation skills and experience interfacing with senior government officials.
• Experience with space weapon systems test engineering.

Compensation:

• Salary range: $140,000 - $175,000 (based on experience and other factors).
• Benefits include Cigna medical, dental, vision, 401k, 20 days paid time off, 11 federal holidays, and sick leave as required by law.
