THE WORK This position will be responsible for interfacing with supply chain management for purchase of hardware maintenance and software renewals. Utilize the LMP2P and LM Property systems to generate reports and track material purchases. Generate BOMs for large task orders as well as small additions to existing work.

Become familiar with contacting suppliers, requesting quotes and ensuring that the material requested is the correct material, and that it matches engineering needs. Capture the customer IDs / account numbers and tie them back to the purchase requests, so that when support is required the information can be provided to the supplier. Ability to navigate manufacturer web portals is a plus.

Basic Qualifications:

Applicant should be familiar with of supply chain management. Know how to use the LM Procure 2 Pay and LM Property systems, at least at the level of report generation. Know how different software is licensed i.e. by CPU / core/ user name / CAL etc.

Experience with Bill of Material (BOM) generation, proposal work, pricing and material management. Some Earned Value Management skills are helpful in order to be able to assist the CAMs when and if VARS need to be addressed. Strong database skills are desired to assist with organizing maintenance end dates, license numbers, maintenance IDs, and serial number tracking. Ability to streamline and improve processes is a plus.
