The Boeing Company is looking for an Anti‑Tamper Systems/Hardware Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO.

Boeing’s Missile Defense Program

We are seeking motivated and talented professionals to support the performance of anti‑tamper efforts for the National Team Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2

BMC) Programs & Networks. Missile Defense programs are part of the Ballistic Missile Defense System which defends the United States homeland and its regional allies worldwide.

Position Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). C2

    BMC leadership on updates and/or changes to the C2

    BMC system
  • Perform Anti‑Tamper Risk and Threat Management Assessments and reports for the C2

    BMC program
  • Develop the analysis process and preparation of the AT plan and provide coordination and input for near‑term fielding decisions
  • Develop, deliver, and maintain C2

    BMC AT Plan, C2

    BMC AT Evaluation Plan, C2

    BMC Key Management Plan, and the C2

    BMC Program Protection Plan
  • Develop, deliver, and maintain Critical Program Information (CPI) analysis, Defense Exportability Assessments, and defense export strategy
  • Develop, deliver, and maintain waivers for CPI, AT, or defense exportability features
  • Assess program Anti‑Tamper designs and implementation plans in support of verification and validation (V&V) efforts
  • Develop and deliver recommendations to improve program protection while meeting cost, schedule, and performance objectives
  • Identify risk‑based technical countermeasures for the protection of C2

    BMC Critical Program Information and Critical Components
  • Brief Anti‑Tamper and Program Protection requirements and prepare white papers and evaluations as required
  • Support program milestone reviews and fielding decisions and verify entrance criteria is satisfied by having the Anti‑Tamper and Program Protection products approved
  • Interact with customers to define SSE requirements, solutions, trades, costs, implementation, system impacts, and effectiveness
  • Support developing plans and estimates, task execution, project tracking, reporting, and risk identification and mitigation plans
  • Keep senior management informed on major accomplishments, issues and concerns

This position is expected to be 100% onsite at Colorado Springs, CO. It may require the ability to obtain access to an MDA facility and candidate acceptance by an industry partner resource control board. An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship required) is also required.

Basic Qualifications
  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
  • Active IAT Level 2 certification

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a high‑performing team across a multi‑site, multi‑discipline organization
  • Ability to analyze high‑level needs and refine them into an evolving minimum viable product (MVP) that leads to a fielded product
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate technical approaches and findings clearly and effectively
  • Experience writing and implementing engineering plans within a project
  • Proven teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Prior experience demonstrating the technical skills and position responsibilities cited here
  • Experience with engineering automation pipelines to enable effective development in rapid, evolving environments
  • Understanding of anti‑tampering and exportability concerns and application of secure hardware/software methodologies
  • Independent, self‑starter mindset with the poise and flexibility required to work in a highly dynamic environment
