Your Impact
- Lead and grow Rock Sol design practice across Southern and/or Western Colorado, providing technical leadership and strategic direction.
- Serve as the Engineer of Record, leading the design and delivery of transportation projects for CDOT, municipalities, counties, and other public agencies.
- Build and strengthen relationships with the municipalities, CDOT, local governments, and regional partners while expanding Rock So/'s transportation presence throughout Colorado.
- Lead project pursuits, develop winning strategies, and secure new transportation work through strong client relationships and technical excellence.
- Manage project scope, budget, schedule, quality, while ensuring successful project delivery.
- Mentor and develop engineering staff while building a high-performing design team.
- Collaborate with Rock Sol’s Construction Management, Inspection, Materials Testing, and Geotechnical teams to deliver practical, construction-focused transportation solutions.
- Colorado Professional Engineer (PE) with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 6+ years of roadway/transportation design and project management experience in Hydraulics, Structures & Traffic, including serving as Engineer of Record.
- Extensive experience delivering transportation projects for CDOT and local public agencies.
- Established relationships and a strong professional reputation within Colorado's transportation industry.
- Foster & develop clients, win work, and grow a Transportation practice.
- Proficient in Open Roads Designer;
Civil 3D experience is a plus. - Collaborative leader with excellent communication skills and a passion for mentoring and developing engineering teams.
