As part of HDR’s Building Engineering Services Group, you’ll help design the critical infrastructure that supports the digital age and shapes the spaces where people work, connect, and thrive. From high-performance data centers driving the future of AI to dynamic commercial environments, your work will directly support technological advancement, sustainability, and human experience.

• Work alongside Senior ICT/Security Technical Specialist to deliver accurate and professional design documents.
• Provide general engineering knowledge of either telecommunications (horizontal/backbone cabling and pathways) or electronic security systems (access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance) or willingness to learn.
• Collaborate with Junior and Senior ICT/Security designers to ensure customer needs and objectives are reflected in the 3‑D model utilizing Revit or similar software.
• Work independently to complete project-related construction documents in Revit to show design intent and assist with system-related activities within all construction administration (CA) activities.
• Coordinate with integrated, multidisciplinary project teams to develop functional requirements, system designs, and other project-related requirements.
• Assist in problem resolution and technical troubleshooting when support is needed.
• Regularly perform de‑clash exercises in Revit to ensure ICT/Security scopes are well coordinated with other disciplines.
• Perform other duties as needed.

• A minimum of 1‑year related industry experience in 3D design software and document management infrastructure.
• Understanding of engineering or architectural concepts.
• Knowledge of industry standards and practices, along with discipline codes and specifications.
• Ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks independently, and deliver products on schedule.
• Ability to work in a high‑velocity environment managing multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and workmanship quality.
• Desire to progress into a designer role.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Revit is preferred with the ability to learn new applications quickly.
• Knowledge of engineering drawings and design standards and practices.
• Strong desire for continuous learning and professional education.
• BICSI RCDD, DCDC, OSP, or RTPM (plus).
• PSP (Physical Security Professional) (plus).
• Experience with Data Centers and Federal Entities (plus).
• “Can‑Do” attitude and problem‑solving mind‑set.
