The City of Colorado Springs is ready to welcome a Senior Analyst
- Transit Assets for the Public Works division. As a Senior Analyst for this team, you will manage Transit Asset Plans and Capital Asset Projects.
Work Schedule:
This position will be required to provide after hours support. This is a special at-will position funded by a FTA grant received by Transit annually. We're an accredited pay equity employer! As a Senior Analyst for the Transit Assets team, you will:
- Create scopes of work and independent cost estimates
- Management and oversight of vendor contracts
- Transit asset inventory and accountability, recording fixed asset acquisitions, dispositions and depreciation, and capital planning
- Manage the Transit Asset Management and Transit ADA Transition Plans
- Asset data management and reporting
- Transit Capital Asset project coordination and oversight
- Manage work quality, training, instruction, and scheduling of personnel within the Asset Group
- Track and manage Information Technology requests
- Review and update policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned

We are looking for candidates who demonstrate:
- Knowledge of:
Asset management, Capital Project Management, Contracting process, Risk Management, Budget implementation and management, Pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations - Ability to:
Oversee, coordinate, and implement assigned projects, Communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing, Establish and maintain effective working relationships
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in a related area of study.
- Five years of full-time, professional experience in a related field
Preferred Qualifications:

- Facilities Capital Project Management experience
- Experience with contract compliance and quality assurance
- Experience creating and writing statements/scopes of work and project cost estimating

Exerting up to 10 lbs. occasionally or negligible weights frequently; sitting most of the time. Environmental Conditions/ Frequency:
