Li Group – Postdoctoral Researcher
The Li Group in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder is seeking postdoctoral researchers to work at the interface of materials science, biomedical engineering, and advanced manufacturing. The position will focus on designing and processing functional biomaterials for healthcare-related challenges. Anticipated start date:
January 1, 2026.
- Piezoelectric, ferroelectric, and other mechanoresponsive biomaterials and devices
- 2D/3D printing and advanced manufacturing: intelligent implants and wearable devices
- High-throughput synthesis and screening, materials discovery, and AI‑driven experimental data analysis
- Conduct research by leading projects.
- Assist the PI in the development of research proposals.
The starting salary range is $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 annually. Benefits include medical, dental, retirement, paid time off, tuition benefit, and ECO Pass.
Required QualificationsPh.D. in biomedical engineering, materials science, mechanical engineering, chemistry, medicine, physics, or a related field.
