As their operational footprint expands, they are seeking an experienced Senior Avionics Technician who not only brings top-tier troubleshooting skills to the bench and aircraft, but also possesses the leadership potential to step directly into the pipeline for Chief Inspector.
The Role:Key Responsibilities & System Focus
As a Senior Avionics Technician, you will lead complex avionics installations, system integrations, high-level electrical troubleshooting, and regulatory documentation for a wide variety of GA platforms.
Full-Panel Upgrades & Systems Integration:
Lead end-to-end panel rewires and installations across premier glass cockpit suites including Garmin (G1000 / TXi / GTN), Avidyne, Aspen, and Dynon platforms.Autopilot & ADS-B Integration:
Perform complex installations, wiring harness fabrication, pin-out terminations, and calibration for modern digital autopilots, ADS-B, radar, and EFIS systems.Certifications & Testing:
Perform 14 CFR 91.411 and 91.413 pitot-static, altimeter, and transponder certification checks using modern ramp test equipment.Airframe & Engine Ecosystem:
Support complex avionics troubleshooting across top General Aviation and turboprop platforms (Cirrus, Piper, Cessna, Diamond, Mooney, Beechcraft) powered by Lycoming, Continental, and Pratt & Whitney powerplants.Pathway to Chief Inspector:
Work directly with quality management to master repair station manuals, FAA compliance protocols, and inspection procedures as you transition into the Chief Inspector role.
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented, master-level technician with a proven background in general aviation electronics.
Experience:
Minimum 5+ years of dedicated avionics experience working directly on General Aviation (GA) piston and turboprop aircraft.Technical Mastery:
Deep proficiency in reading and interpreting complex aircraft electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, pin-outs, and engineering drawings.Certifications:
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license and/or NCATT AET certification is heavily preferred.Testing Equipment:
Hands-on experience operating pitot-static test sets, nav/comm ramp test equipment, multimeters, and oscilloscopes.Regulatory Compliance:
Solid working knowledge of FAA Parts 43, 91, and 145 regulations and documentation standards.Leadership Ambition:
Excellent communication skills, high accountability, and a desire to advance into a Chief Inspector / Quality Leadership role.
