Business Banker​/Commercial Lender

American Bank of Commerce is seeking a Business Banker/Commercial Lender to build and manage relationships with small and mid-sized business clients across our Texas and Colorado markets. In this role, you will originate, structure, and close commercial loans while analyzing financial statements, cash flow, and collateral to make sound credit recommendations. You'll manage a loan portfolio, cross-sell banking services, and partner with local teams to deliver responsive, community-focused service that supports regional growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with business and commercial clients in Texas and Colorado markets.
• Originate, structure, and close commercial loans and lines of credit.
• Analyze financial statements, cash flow, and collateral to underwrite sound credit decisions.
• Monitor loan portfolio performance, manage risk, and ensure regulatory and policy compliance.
• Cross-sell deposit, treasury, and digital banking services to support client needs.
• Collaborate with branch and credit teams to deliver timely, personalized service.
• Participate in community and business development activities to grow the bank's presence.
• Prepare credit packages, documentation, and reports with high accuracy and completeness.
