The Senior Business Banker is responsible for developing, managing, and growing business banking relationships throughout the Northern Colorado Springs and Monument market. This role serves as the primary point of contact for business members, delivering financial solutions that support day-to-day operations, long-term growth, and overall financial success.

Through a consultative and relationship-driven approach, the Senior Business Banker works closely with business owners and decision makers to understand their unique needs and connect them with appropriate deposit, treasury management, and business banking solutions. Success in this role requires a balance of new relationship acquisition, portfolio management, and relationship expansion, with a strong focus on achieving established production, deposit growth, and relationship growth goals.

As a visible representative of Wings within the community, the Senior Business Banker actively cultivates referral sources, develops new business relationships, and strengthens partnerships with local businesses, professional partners, and community organizations. The ideal candidate is an experienced business banking professional who enjoys building relationships, prospecting within the market, and helping businesses achieve their goals while delivering an exceptional member experience.

Business Relationship Management & Portfolio Growth

• Develop and execute an annual market plan and calling strategy designed to achieve established production goals, portfolio growth, relationship acquisition, and deposit growth objectives.
• Develop, manage, and grow a portfolio of business banking relationships through proactive calling efforts, referrals, networking activities, and ongoing relationship management.
• Build strong relationships with business owners and key decision makers by gaining a thorough understanding of their operations, financial priorities, and future goals.
• Conduct regular business visits, relationship reviews, and account planning activities to uncover opportunities for growth and deepen existing relationships.
• Serve as the primary business banking contact for assigned relationships, providing responsive service and proactive financial guidance.
• Retain and expand existing business relationships through exceptional service and the delivery of relevant banking solutions.
• Drive portfolio growth through new deposit acquisition, treasury management adoption, and expansion of existing member relationships.
• Maintain a disciplined portfolio management strategy that balances relationship retention, growth, and profitability.
