Medical Director of the ED Observation Unit - Job functions include:

• To oversee day-to-day management of the unit
• Responsible for peer review, quality assurance, provider staffing
• Patient complaints and management of patient protocols
• To provide leadership in the operations of the unit

• Board certified in Emergency Medicine
• Previous administrative/leadership experience desirable
• Maintain active State license

• This position will oversee Penrose and St. Francis Emergency Departments
