Banquet Server
Pay Rate: $15.00-$32.00 per hour Inclusive of hourly pay rate + service charge*
$ per hour based on $2.17/per hour base wage + service charge. Historically, this position averages service charge commission earnings of $13-30 per hour. Service charges are commissions and will fluctuate based on events and time of year.
This position always earns at least the current Colorado minimum wage of $15.16 per hour.

As a member of the Banquet team, you will be responsible for function set-up and breakdown, serves food and beverages, fulfills guest requests, exceeds guest’s expectations. Mixes and serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to patrons by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (Other duties may be assigned)
- Set up and breakdown tables and chairs.
- Ensure tables are neatly and appropriately set per event specification.
- Serve food and beverages.
- Knowledgeable of food and beverage menu item ingredients and dietary/allergen ingredients, able to answer guests’ questions regarding the menu.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, function space, guest tables, and storage spaces.
- Respond to guests' needs and assist fellow staff members as needed.
- Clear, Clean and reset tables as needed.
- Serve and clear courses from appropriate position in line with fine dining, 5-star standards.
- Remain present and available in the function space, accessible to guests to perform additional duties upon request.
- Function as a productive, energetic member within a team, in a fast-paced environment.
- Receive and follow through on requests and instructions from various sources, such as Captains, Chefs, Management, and Clients.
- Maintains professional appearance and good personal hygiene.
- Attend all mandatory hotel and department trainings and meetings.
- Maintain knowledge of, abide by, and enforce Colorado State Liquor Laws.
- Follow all safety and security policies, reports any suspicious activities, and Lost and Found items to maintain a safe workplace.
- Follow all procedures to properly use, store and transport equipment in a safe manner to ensure equipment is not damaged.
- Read, understand BEOs, and follow assignments based on the information noted on the BEOs.
- Utilize Info Genesis POS Software to create, post and present checks to guests.

- Candidates with luxury hotel or fine dining experience preferred.
- Candidate should work well with others and be able to work effectively across cultures, understand how to work with people from different backgrounds, countries.
- Candidate must have reliable transportation to ensure reporting to work on time.
- Candidate must be available to work Holidays and all pre-determined, high volume, blackout dates set by the Banquet Administration and Management team.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with experience working in the Food and Beverage industry of minimum of one year.
