Job Title: Wilderness Properties Concierge–Reception Agent Pay Rate: $18.00 /hr.
Job Summary:

As a Wilderness Properties Concierge–Reception Agent, you will support one of our two wilderness experiences Cloud Camp and The Ranch at Emerald Valley by coordinating all aspects of guest stays, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience from pre‑arrival through departure.

This role is essential to maintaining our Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond service standards.

• Guest Services & Front Desk Operations
• Proactively coordinate all aspects and requirements of guests staying at Cloud Camp and The Ranch at Emerald Valley.
• Personally greet and assist guests with check‑in and check‑out procedures.
• Maintain accuracy of guest credit card information and personal preference files.
• Update a detailed daily logbook documenting all guest interactions and necessary follow‑up.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the reception and concierge areas.
• Possess complete knowledge of the reservation booking system, room categories, and rate structures.
• Book reservations and build customized itineraries for Wilderness property guests.
• Contact future guests prior to arrival to inquire about preferences, dietary needs, special occasions, and desired activities.
• Maintain and enhance relationships with current and former guests through calls and written correspondence.
• Answer all inquiries and provide suggestions regarding on‑property and off‑property amenities, including golf, spa, tennis, excursions, concerts, sports events, and other activities.
• Provide descriptive literature and make reservations for all activities and entertainment.
• Maintain current listings of facility hours, local attractions, and events.
• Build and maintain relationships with outside vendors relevant to Wilderness adventure programming.
• Arrange, assist with, and participate in guest activities and evening entertainment programs as needed.
• Continually review program standards and recommend improvements.
• Assist at the Broadmoor Wilderness Desk or other Wilderness properties when required.
• Proficiently operate point‑of‑sale systems.
• Provide service that aligns with Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond standards, consistently delivering above‑and‑beyond experiences.
• Work effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Uphold all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Perform all other duties as assigned to support Cloud Camp or Emerald Valley Ranch.

• High School Diploma or GED. One year college or technical school attendance or three to six months related experience and or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience working for a Guest/Dude Ranch preferred.
• Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) with a work environment that may be indoors and outdoors at times.
