About the roleAs a Dev Sec Ops Engineer, you are responsible for actively developing and implementing end‑to‑end cluster and application life cycles, ensuring processes are both secure and efficient. You collaborate with clients to design and implement Kubernetes or Docker solutions, build CI/CD pipelines, apply Git Ops principles, and use security best practices throughout the development and delivery process. You ensure deployed capabilities meet security requirements and test, and work with cloud deployment activities to satisfy STIG or DoD security standards.
Whatwe are looking for
- Masters level Degree + 10 years of relevant hands‑on experience with Dev Sec Ops principles OR Bachelors Degree + 18 years of relevant hands‑on experience with Dev Sec Ops principles
- Develop and implement end‑to‑end cluster and application life cycles
- Experience with AWS and cloud technologies
- Good grasp of Agile, Dev Ops, and Dev Sec Ops methodologies
- Networking experience
- Experience or knowledge of Service‑Mesh, such as Istio
- Good knowledge of version control systems like Gitlab
- Experience in software systems development using CI/CD pipelines
- Strong problem‑solving skills
- Familiar with Java, Node.js, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Python
- Passionate about automation, system efficiency, and security
- Experience with Log Management and Analytics tools
- Proficient in tools like AWS Cloud Services, Gitlab, Ansible, Maven, Gradle
- Experience with Unit/Integration Testing
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code
- Able to obtain a Security+ certification within 90 days of employment with Raft
- BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or a related field
- Experience with writing custom Helm Charts
- Basic experience with Big Data
- Multilingual programming abilities
- Knowledge in automation languages like Python or Go Lang
- Active Secret security clearance
- Onsite - Colorado Springs, CO
- May require up to 10% travel
- $140,000 – $165,000
- Compensation determined by candidate's comprehensive experience, demonstrated skill, and proven abilities
