Description
Our team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2
BMC) team at Lockheed Martin, is dedicated to engineering, developing, and integrating new capabilities for the Missile Defense System that protects the United States and its allies. While we are part of a large organization, we operate within smaller, agile teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Our responsibilities include Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security, and enhancing critical missile defense technologies.
Work
In this vital role, you will be:
- Developing and testing patches to mitigate cyber vulnerabilities. Candidate will concentrate on vulnerability management including analysis and remediation of lAVMs, Cyber Tasking Orders (CT0s), Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs), Vendor Patches and STIG configurations.
- Installation and configuration of Linux from the OS up to the application level.
- Documentation and verification of all installation and configuration steps for the labs.
- Develop test plans/procedures for software integration and unit test.
- Work with software developers and/or vendors as needed to help diagnose and identify the root cause of problems found during system integration.
- Submit problem reports for errors found per Agile processes and coordinate daily integration activities with other Agile Release Trains (ARTs).
- This position is also responsible for the development and implementation of Cyber Releases in the National Team labs, C2
BMC Test Facility, and Operations.

This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.
The role will involve approximately 10% travel to customer sites throughout the U.S.

Basic Qualifications- Bachelors degree with 2 year professional experience, or Masters degree and no professional experience
- DoD 8570 certification IAT - Level II (e.g., Sec+ or higher)
- Administrative experience with Window and/or Linux systems
- Experience and knowledge of Patch Management systems.
- Experience and knowledge of Agile Methodologies
- Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
- Advanced programming and scripting experience in a UNIX environment (C++, Perl, Python, Bash, Ruby, Shell, Scripts)
- Advanced knowledge of ACAS (Tenable.sc / Tenable Nessus), Evaluate STIG, Trivy, SCAP or other cyber scanning tools
