Requirements Must have
- 12 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity engineering within DoD or Federal environments
- Proven expertise in executing the complete RMF lifecycle
- Track record of successfully obtaining and maintaining ATO for Government systems
- In‑depth knowledge of NIST SP 800‑171, 800‑53, and 800‑37
- Skilled in implementing DFARS 252.204‑7012 and CMMC requirements
- Practical experience with vulnerability scanning tools and remediation processes
- Experience with STIG implementation and compliance checks
- Familiarity with Dev Sec Ops practices and automated security within CI/CD pipelines
- DoD 8140‑compliant certification, such as CISSP or an equivalent technical certification, required
- Active Top Secret clearance, with SCI eligibility required
- Serve as the primary cybersecurity expert within the Product Team
- Drive the execution of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle according to NIST SP 800‑37 and NIST SP 800‑53
- Ensure adherence to NIST SP 800‑171, DFARS 252.204‑7012, CMMC framework requirements, DoDI 8500.01, 8510.01, 8530.01, and DoDM 8140.03 workforce requirements
- Create, oversee, and update comprehensive RMF accreditation packages
- Lead the development and submission of CtF and ATO documentation
- Collaborate directly with Government cybersecurity stakeholders and Authorizing Officials
- Manage and perform vulnerability scans and remediation efforts, STIG implementation and validation, secure configuration management, software assurance evaluations, and risk assessments and mitigation strategies
- Develop and maintain Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) and risk documentation
- Incorporate cybersecurity measures into CI/CD pipelines
- Work in partnership with development teams to enforce secure coding methods, conduct code scans, address assessment findings, and prepare software code baselines for compliance evaluations
- Support secure deployments across both classified and unclassified networks
We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to be a vital member of our Product Team. In this role, you will lead cybersecurity efforts to ensure secure deployment and system accreditation, interacting closely with software developers, engineers, and integration teams. This position requires hands‑on technical leadership and strong collaboration within Dev Sec Ops .
