Position Details
Position Title: System Integration/Test Engineer
Location: Peterson SFB, Colorado Springs, CO
Pay Rate: The annual salary range for this position is $130,000 - $160,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. RTL Networks considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Status: Full-time / On-site
Required Clearance: Secret with T5 background investigation. Must be able to obtain/maintain sponsored clearance of up to TS/SCI.
Required Certification(s): IAT Level II (Security+CE)

SummaryRTL Networks has an exciting opportunity for a DoD SECRET cleared System Integration/Test Engineer to help support Space and Ground segments of a military satellite communications program.
Primary Responsibilities- Responsible for the development of IT solutions across all components of software systems through design, integration, implementation, and support.
- Coordinate, develop, and integrate new systems in both physical and virtualized environments.
- Develop and install upgrades to existing systems.
- Experience with supporting Windows operating systems.
- COTS software deployment experience.
- Develop scripts to improve system administration and deployment automation.
- Experience writing scripts.
- Familiarity with automation tools / scripting.
- Familiarity with Power Shell scripting (ability to read/understand existing scripts).
- Troubleshoot issues and provide support across the information system.
- Strong understanding and application of cybersecurity practices (STIG compliance, system accreditation, etc.).
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and principles.
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills.
- Must meet DoD 8570 Information Assurance Workforce (IAWF) criteria or Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification at time of hire (i.e., Security+).
- Advanced degree and 3+ years' experience or bachelor's with 5+ years' experience or equivalent.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time.
Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically.
Security Clearance RequirementsMust currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for clearance at this location.
