Northrop Grumman Space Systems-Missile Defense Integration offers an excellent opportunity for a Principal Engineer Systems Test - System Test Analyst (26-004) to join our team of talented and diverse professionals. Based at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO, this role is essential to supporting the U.S. President, the Secretary of Defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels.
This position does not provide relocation assistance and requires on-site work with no remote options.
Position Overview:
The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2
BMC) program is a key component of the Missile Defense System. It is a vital operational system that enables the U.S. president, the secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels to plan ballistic missile defense operations systematically, monitor the battle collectively, and dynamically control networked sensors and weapon systems to achieve global and regional mission goals.

BMC supports layered missile defense capabilities that enable an optimized response to threats across all ranges during all flight phases. It serves as a force multiplier by networking, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations globally and regionally to improve performance. C2
BMC is essential for all ground and flight tests that verify and demonstrate current and future missile defense system capabilities. As a senior analyst on the System Test Analysis team within the C2
BMC NT, the candidate will be responsible for analyzing test event data, coordinating observations and resolutions across development and test teams within C2
BMC, and assisting with coordination with the Missile Defense Agency customer and seeking a motivated data analyst to support the C2
BMC National Team (NT) in analyzing missile tracking and models in the test bed and operations. This individual will be part of a focused technical team that verifies and validates metrics, statistics, and descriptive analyses of test data from Missile Defense Systems in development, supporting national security.
Essential Functions:
* Assist with the planning, scheduling, and development of verification analysis tools
* Assist with or support the coordination, development, and maintenance of analysis and test-tracking tools
* Ensure proper backup and archiving of test products and analysis datasets (backup data manager role)
Basic Qualifications:
Please list your current security clearance and IAT or relevant certifications on your resume, if applicable.
* A Bachelor's Degree in STEM Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university is preferred, along with 5 years of experience; or a Master's degree ( preferred ) in a STEM-related field with 3 years of relevant work experience; or a PhD in a related STEM discipline with 1 year of relevant work experience
* Applicants must have a current, active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND, etc.) at the time of application, which is required to start. The candidate is responsible for maintaining their DoD 8140 certification throughout the entire contract period
* Applicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start
* The candidate is expected to travel as needed (less than 10%), but most work will be conducted at Schriever SFB. Some non-standard work hours may be required due to test event schedules
Preferred Qualifications:
* Master's Degree in Systems Engineering is highly preferred
* Certification: INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) Certification

Object Management Group Certified Systems Modeling Professional - Model Builder Fundamental (OCSMP - MBF)
